The Radio Corporation of America (RCA) released their Pro Wonder VHS camcorder line in 1986.
The camera was released as a "Record and Play" system and it soon became the go-to camcorder for most of american households. This camcorder was the first forerunner to home movies. Countless of them were recorded on VHS tapes in the 80's, and RCA cameras played a key role in that revolution.
The camera offers a vintage VHS look, auto-focus and a single speed servo zoom, plus embedded sound via SDI.
The camera has been accessorized and converted to record a ProRes digital signal straight into SD cards, so it's not depending on internal tape recording anymore. On top of that, you can power the camera straight through V-Lock batteries.
